The Yurok Child Support Services (YCSS) Program was established in 2010 following the passage of the Yurok Family Code, YCSS is a federally funded tribal Title IV-D agency. Our mission is to improve the well-being of children and families within and associated with Yurok Territory.
Services We Provide
YCSS offers a range of child support services, including:
- Locating non-custodial parents
- Establishing paternity
- Identifying and evaluating in-kind goods as a means of support
- Initiating case transfers to the jurisdiction of the Yurok Tribal Court
- Assisting with California’s Debt Reduction Program
- Establishing, enforcing, and modifying support orders within the Yurok Tribal Court
